WHERE IT ALL BEGUN?
Hands-on attitude, love for food and beverage, passion for beautiful details and, above all, a desire to bring joy and happiness to others!
Already as a young boy I was extremely motivated to go about things my own way. A vision of setting up a company of my own one day began forming at the age of 14.
A few years later, summer 2004 as I travelled in Europe, I got to experience different cultures & local trends - the buzz of cities such as Paris and Rome and the distinct differences in the role of coffee in every day life. Returning to Helsinki I was able to view the Finnish coffee culture from a fresh perspective and was overcome with a desire to introduce the latest trends to the Finnish coffee lovers as well.
Zeberas Ltd was established in 2004. The name? Tori Amos inspired us on this one ("Mr. Zebra" is a catchy song!)
I started my company as a franchising entrepreneur with Rober'ts Coffee. I acquired two coffee shops where I had previously been working as a manager. I've been lucky to have my family with me from the very start - our achievements are greater when we can celebrate them together! Together we continue to create our story.

Zeberas Ltd is an uplifted and energetic family-owned company. Zeberas is already almost like a lifestyle - it's all about enjoying beautiful details, good food and celebrating life together with friends.
We have expanded our business and aim at organic growth. Our goal is to contribute to the vivid coffee culture in Finland by bringing new and exciting elements to it. The amazing and inspiring team of ours - we call them a Zeberas family - is what makes this possible. Our love for coffee has indeed only grown deeper thanks to these wonderful people. Together we continue to develop and test new concepts and ideas, embracing inspiration from all over the world.
We currently run 9 coffee shops. Nothing has changed though when it comes to introducing trends of the world to the Finnish audience. In addition to keeping an eye on what's happening elsewhere, we work together with local bakeries and other companies in order to find the right products for our customers.
In 2006 we opened a new branch of business, gift shop KahVilla. In summer 2016 it will be further introduced as a life style concept where coffee and interior design meet. We will also open an online store later this year.
Summer 2016 brings one more new area to our business: we are currently looking for new products to introduce to the Finnish market from all over Europe as well as developing our own product range in co-operation with small manufacturers in Finland.
And what's happening next? You never know! :)
